MP government issued show-cause notice to IAS officer Santosh Verma over his controversial remark that reservation must stay until a Brahmin "donates" daughter to his son. The notice said Verma's remarks were "inconsistent with the dignity and conduct expected of [IAS] officers". It said they amount to "disrupting social harmony and spreading hatred in society".
