The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of IAS officer Vikram Dev Dutt as the next Director General of DGCA. Dutt, an IAS officer of 1993 batch, is currently serving as CMD of Air India Assets Holding Ltd. He'll take over as DGCA head on February 28, upon the superannuation of incumbent DGCA chief Arun Kumar.
