IBM lost nearly $70 billion in market value in its biggest single-day wipeout in the US tech giant's 115-year history. The sell-off followed CEO Arvind Krishna's admission that IBM was slow to respond to the AI boom, saying, "We faltered...and didn't adapt and move quickly enough." The company's market value fell from about $272.78 billion by nearly $70 billion.
