IBM Corporation is suing a Thai former top executive seeking repayment of $4,70,000 (around ₹3.89 crore) bonus awards for joining Accenture, which is IBM's main competitor in the Asia-Pacific region. Ex-employee Patama Chantaruck, breached her contract when she accepted a senior role at Accenture, IBM alleged. Chantaruck quit IBM in March 2022 and joined Accenture a month later.
