IBM has announced that it will separate its Managed Infrastructure Services unit from the 109-year-old company to help focus on cloud computing and AI capabilities. The "NewCo" will have greater agility to design, run, and modernise the infrastructure of organisations, CEO Arvind Krishna said. "IBM and NewCo will capitalise on their respective strengths," Executive Chairman Ginni Rometty said.
