Afghanistan batter Ibrahim Zadran took to X and informed that he underwent an ankle surgery. He said the surgery was successful and he is now focussing on his recovery. India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant commented on the post and said "recover well". Zadran was ruled out of the recently concluded ODI series against South Africa due to the ankle injury.
