ICC gives 'satisfactory' rating to Eden Gardens pitch used for India-SA Test
The Eden Gardens pitch on which South Africa beat India inside three days last month has received a "satisfactory" rating from ICC. Neither team passed 200 even once in the Test, and India, chasing a fourth-innings target of 124, were bowled out for 93. With the "satisfactory" rating, Eden Gardens has avoided any sanction.
