ICICI Bank posted a 37% year-on-year growth in standalone profit at ₹7,557.84 crore for the September quarter as against ₹5,511 crore in the corresponding period last year led by a fall in bad loan provisions. Its net interest income surged to ₹14,787 crore year-on-year compared to ₹11,690 crore last year. It registered a 25% year-on-year growth in retail loan portfolio.
