The Maharashtra government is set to buy the iconic Air India building at Nariman Point for ₹1,600 crore, as per reports. The state government will turn the building into an extension of Mantralaya, reports added. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) was also in the fray to buy the building, reports further stated.
