West Bengal TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee confirmed that ₹57 lakh was siphoned off from one of his dormant bank accounts using forged PAN and Aadhaar cards. "If I were to fall under the trap of bank fraud, what would the common people face?" he said. "Why is the Ministry of Finance not setting up an anti-cyber fraud unit?" he added.
