The Supreme Court recently reserved its verdict on the plea of two women officers denied selection to the Army's Judge Advocate General department despite higher merit due to limited vacancies for females. The court asked the Centre, "If it's permissible in IAF for a lady to fly a Rafale...why is it...difficult for the Army to allow more women in JAG?"
