Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer Nidhi Tewari has been appointed as Private Secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday. She is currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). She had joined the PMO as Under Secretary for a tenure of three years in November 2022. Tewari is a 2014-batch IFS officer.
