IFS officer trampled to death by elephant on Wildlife Day

An Indian Forest Service officer was trampled to death by an elephant in a forest range in Karnataka on World Wildlife Day on Saturday. The senior officer had gone to the range with his team to trace the location of a fire when the elephant attacked him. Condoling his death, CM Siddaramaiah announced he will be given state honours.
