IIM-A alumnus Sumit Rajpal, co-head of Goldman's $100-bn investing unit, to quit
Sumit Rajpal, one of the three co-heads of Goldman Sachs' $100-billion plus Merchant Banking Division, is leaving the firm at the end of February. The flagship private investing unit invests the bank's money and that of clients into deals. An alumnus of IIM-Ahmedabad, Rajpal joined Goldman Sachs in 2000 after working at McKinsey & Company for about 2 years.
