A Deloitte and TeamLease report revealed that annual salary packages for 2024 graduates from Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) have dropped to ₹15-16 lakh. The unplaced percentage has risen to 38% from 21% in 2023. Older IITs saw a rise to 37% unplaced students, while newer IITs have 40% unplaced.
