Many students graduating from IITs in 2024 are being offered annual salaries below ₹10 lakh, a Times of India report said. Companies are reportedly scaling back hiring and offering lower salaries and consequently, students who landed ₹10 lakh-₹15 lakh jobs continue to look for better prospects. Companies that usually hire 5-8 students have picked 1-2, said an IIT Bombay student.
