IIT Kanpur alumnus Ashish Karandikar has donated around ₹1.6 crore to his alma mater. The donation is to establish three endowment programmes that promote innovation, excellence, and academic advancement within the Electrical Engineering department. "These programs will pave the way for newer avenues of growth for our faculty, researchers, and students," said Prof S Ganesh, Director, IIT Kanpur.
