IIT Kanpur-incubated startup unveils multi-terrain quadruped robot

IIT Kanpur-incubated startup xTerra Robotics has unveiled DHAV-Hy, a quadruped robot designed to navigate different terrains. In a demonstration, the robot tackled rough terrain, slopes, stairs, hard terrain transitions and sudden disturbances. Powered by in-house actuators, it is designed to move quickly across open ground while retaining the agility needed to navigate challenging terrain.
