IIT Kanpur is set to confer an honorary doctorate on former sprinter PT Usha on June 16 to mark the 50th convocation of the institute. Usha, who will be conferred with the Doctor of Science degree, was earlier conferred with an honorary degree by Kannur University. The 52-year-old had recently declined an offer to do Bollywood biopic on her.
