IIT Madras has received its largest-ever single donation of ₹228 crore from its Distinguished Alumnus Awardee Dr Krishna Chivukula. He graduated with an MTech in Aeronautical Engineering from IIT Madras in 1970 and later founded INDO-MIM company. The institution raised a record ₹513 crore from alumni, corporate enterprises and other donors in FY24.
