IIT-Roorkee refuses to relax eligibility criterion for admissions amid CBSE marks row

Amid controversy over the marking system for Class 12 CBSE exams and the subsequent re-evaluation lags, IIT-Roorkee, which conducted JEE exam this year, has refused to relax the eligibility criterion for admissions. General category students need to score 75% aggregate in CBSE to secure a seat. IIT-Roorkee said students from 36 boards are participating; hence, lowering marks isn't possible.
