IIT-Roorkee warned of action in a statement after an old video of a female student dancing at a college fest in 2023 resurfaced. A few social media users called the dance vulgar, following which the institute said, "It has come to our notice that misleading content is being circulated on social media with the intent to tarnish our reputation."
