A team of students from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has developed an application, which they claim can help trace individuals who came in close contact with COVID-19 patients. The application purportedly identifies people who have been within two metres of a known infected person, using Bluetooth technology. It then connects the user with the nearest healthcare facility.
