A fourth-year female student of IIT-Guwahati was found dead in a hotel in Guwahati after celebrating New Year with three batchmates, police said. The staff said the students were drunk when they came to the hotel post midnight. The next morning, the woman was found unconscious in the washroom by her friend and the hospital declared her brought dead.
