Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad aims to attract up to $15 million in sponsored research funding over the next two years, Director UB Desai said. IITH has bagged $20 million of sponsored research projects since it started functioning in 2008. It wants to contribute in the area of fifth-generation (5G) broadband, digital fabrication, and Internet of Things (IoT), Desai added.
