The IIT council on Monday announced that the cutoff for students who clear the IIT-JEE (Advanced) will be 75% in the Class 12 board examinations, or a top 20 percentile, whichever is lower. Earlier, the students had to chase an undisclosed target to be within the top 20 percentile to be considered for admission to the IITs.
