IITs may roll out 'adaptive' JEE Advanced by 2030 to reduce coaching dependence
IITs are looking to roll out 'adaptive' JEE Advanced assessment system in which difficulty of questions changes according to candidates’ responses, as early as 2030. A pilot aptitude test involving about 4,000 students across multiple IITs was conducted recently. The move is aimed at making the exam "a better and less stressful assessment" while reducing dependence on coaching-driven preparation.
