Many illegal online betting advertisements have appeared at metro stations in Hyderabad despite the Centre's advisory against such advertisements. Advertisements of FairPlay, MyJackpot and other betting applications have been spotted at the stations. In October, a youth named Ramakrishna Reddy died by suicide in Telangana after suffering a huge loss in online betting.
