IMD explains why it is raining in Delhi-NCR after monsoon's exit

Heavy rain and thunderstorms swept Delhi, Noida and Gurugram despite the Southwest Monsoon's withdrawal from parts of India. The India Meteorological Department explained that post-monsoon weather systems, including a Western Disturbance, can still trigger showers over the region.
