IMD has predicted that Mumbai is likely to get some relief from the heat in the coming week. From March 31 onwards, the weather agency has forecast light rain and thunderstorms in Mumbai and its suburbs, which will extend into early April. Daytime temperatures are expected to fall, with the maximum temperature dropping to around 31° Celsius by April 2.
