The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted rain in Delhi for the next six days amid intense heat in the national capital. It also issued a yellow alert for rain accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning and strong surface winds for June 30 (Tuesday) and July 1 (Wednesday). Notably, monsoon is expected to hit Delhi in the first week of July.
