The monsoon has been delayed, but the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted isolated to scattered rain in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh till June 25 due to western disturbances. Day temperatures would rise by two-three degrees Celsius in the coming days, though heatwave conditions are not expected.
