The IMD has suggested several actions in view of the cold wave conditions that are predicted in many states and UTs over the next few days. Regular moisturisation, consumption of vitamin C-rich fruits, vegetables and warm fluids were among the suggestions. It also suggested limiting outdoor activities, wearing insulated/ waterproof shoes and maintaining ventilation while using heaters.
