India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a 'red' alert for 10 districts in Kerala for today amid heavy rains in the state. The 'red' alert has been issued in all districts except Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta and Kasargod, where an 'orange' alert has been sounded for Tuesday and Wednesday. CM Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday said six people have died amid heavy rains.
