The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert in Hyderabad till Sunday. The city is likely to witness rains that could lead to waterlogging on roads and low-lying areas and cause traffic jams, according to IMD. Water and electricity could be disrupted for a few hours, it added. Notably, Ganesh idol immersions are being undertaken this weekend.
