The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced an Orange Alert for Delhi and predicted that rainfall will continue till Friday. The IMD had also predicted that heavy rainfall would occur till noon while light to moderate rainfall would continue to occur in Delhi NCR on Thursday. Meanwhile, a portion of a road in Gurugram caved in following heavy rainfall.
