IMF keeps India's GDP growth forecast steady at 7% for FY25

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has kept India's GDP forecast unchanged at 7% for FY25 and 6.5% for FY26. In its latest 'World Economic Outlook' report, the IMF said the growth will moderate "because pent-up demand accumulated during the pandemic has been exhausted". IMF expects consumer prices in India to rise by 4.4% in FY25.
