During Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh's visit to Imperial College London, the institute's management announced scholarships worth £400,000 (over ₹4 crore) for Indian students studying in the college. Out of the total scholarships, 50% would be given to female students from India. Singh interacted with Indian students at the college for about an hour.
