BETA Technologies' Alia all-electric aircraft successfully completed a flight with passengers on board from US' East Hampton to the John F Kennedy Airport earlier this month, which is a first in aviation history. The cost of the flight, which covered nearly 130 km in around 45 minutes, was $8 (nearly ₹700). At least four passengers were on board the plane.
