A Travelling Ticket Inspector (TTI) of Central Railway, Mohammed Shams Chand, collected over ₹1 crore in penalties from ticketless passengers in one year between April 1, 2025 and March 14, 2026. He detected 11,483 cases during his regular checkups. With this, he became the first official in the Mumbai Division to achieve the milestone, Central Railway stated.
