The enforcement directorate has attached 1,280 acres of land in California, US in a case related to a Rs 2,200 crore bank loan fraud by Zoom Developers. The money intended for various projects in Europe was siphoned off and the projects never started, while its promoter Vijay Chaudhary is absconding. This is reportedly ED's first attachment in the US.
