The South Delhi Municipal Corporation collected ₹1,075 crore from 460,000 taxpayers this year. According to Radha Krishan, head of the SDMC's property tax department, the corporation has crossed the ₹1,000 crore mark for the first time while it collected ₹943 crore in 2020-21. Krishan added that ₹917 crore was raised as property transfer duty which is also an all-time high.
