Humanoid robots from Hangzhou-based Unitree Robotics and Shenzhen-based EngineAI took centre stage at Singapore's inaugural robot-fighting tournament. Held under the global Avatar Robot Combat league, the real-time bouts featured machines controlled by humans rather than AI as seen in other hi-tech fights. A video showed the robots trading punches, grappling with each other and engaging in combat.
