UPI payments are accepted in Bhutan, Singapore, UAE, Nepal, France. Further, NRIs from Singapore, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Oman, Qatar, USA, Saudi Arabia, UAE and United Kingdom can use UPI to transfer money if their domestic bank accounts are linked to their phone numbers abroad. India has also signed agreements to launch UPI with Russia and Sri Lanka, among others.
