short by Apaar Sharma / on Thursday, 8 October, 2020
Primary schools on the Lakshadweep islands reopened for the first time this academic year on Tuesday. Classes 6-12 had resumed earlier and now over 11,000 students on the 10 inhabited islands of the UT are back in school. Over eight months after the first coronavirus case was reported in India, Lakshadweep remains the only place without a single reported case.
