According to media reports, Income Tax department is developing a mobile application which would enable the users to file their income tax returns. "There are some security-related issues, which we will resolve soon,” Central Board of Direct Taxes Chairperson Anita Kapoor said on Saturday. Notably, the government is expected to collect ₹7.98 lakh crore from direct taxes this fiscal.
