India, EU hold talks on FTA implementation in Brussels

Commerce Secretary Rajesh Agrawal met senior EU officials in Brussels to discuss FTA implementation, customs cooperation, and market access. The India-EU FTA, concluded in January 2026, is undergoing legal scrubbing ahead of a mid-December signing. It aims to eliminate tariffs on over 99% of Indian exports to the EU, with full ratification targeted for mid-2027.
