India and Japan signed pacts on Thursday to boost cooperation in artificial intelligence, metals and energy and prepared a joint roadmap for economic security. Both countries will advance cooperation in battery manufacturing, EV ecosystem, mineral exploration and medical devices sector. The India-Japan Biogas Initiative will help to establish 1,000 biogas and organic fertiliser plants in India.
