India and Oman signed the India-Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) on Thursday during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Oman visit. Under the FTA, Oman has offered zero-duty access on 98.08% of its tariff lines, covering 99.38% of India’s exports to Oman, Union Minister Piyush Goyal said. Textiles, footwear and pharmaceuticals are among the sectors set to benefit from it.
