India and Russia are considering a semi-floating rupee-ruble exchange rate to boost bilateral trade, Moneycontrol reported. The rate, which could potentially be fixed on a monthly basis, would help reduce foreign exchange costs. The discussions come amid tighter US sanctions on Russia, and Moscow and India's plans to increase bilateral trade to over $100 billion by 2030.
